love it!...you don't have any tutorials on how you go about making one of these do you? also, do you make the dolls yourself or just bye the doll and add painted details?

i make them from scratch and i don't use patterns.

sorry, no tutorials-i think most tutorials are for basic sewing, this type of thing would take a several year apprenticeship, and trust me, after you put in the 20 years of sewing i've put in, the last thing you want to do is copy someone elses work via tutorial.

i think martha stewart has some doll tutorials on her site, and perhaps you could search the web.

i'm not trying to copy your work. I just like seeing the way people think and process their ideas into real life. Tutorials aren't not really meant be used for copying, in my opinion, but just to show a technique and then for the person viewing the tutorial to then create unique art. I'm sure whether you post a tutorial or not, someone out there has already copied everything you've done...especially your unusual faces since most of the populace hasn't ever had an original idea...
